SADAT KANOBA
Sadat Kanoba (LLB, BL, MCIPM) is responsible for advisory Services on Labour Laws, Industrial Relations and Immigration. Called to the Nigerian Bar in 2000 as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, Miss Kanoba holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree LLB (Hons) from the University of Benin, Nigeria. Her professional experience over the past 20 years spans Legal, Administrative and Human Resources Management.
She started her legal career in 2001 as an
Associate Counsel, with the Law firm of Ibrahim Buba & Co following which
she worked as a Human Rights Attorney with Civil Liberties Organization (CLO)
in compliance with the compulsory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC)
Programme. She worked as an Officer in charge of Legal and Administrative
matters at Parmass & Company Limited, a Lagos based Estate Development/Management
Company.
She has more than 14 years’ extensive experience as
a Generalist HR professional in Nigerian and Multi-national organizations
operating in Nigeria. Her HR expertise covers entities in the Manufacturing,
Sales & Marketing, Power and Oil & Gas Sectors.
Miss Kanoba has at different times in her career
served at Senior Management level and as a Member of the Country Strategic
Management Committee in 3 French Multi-national companies: Michelin, Alstom and
Delattre Bezons (a Subsidiary of the Entrepose Group). She is a Full Member
(via executive route) of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of
Nigeria (CIPM) with extensive experience in Labour Law and Practice.
